About Aven Research

Research that reports its own progress

Aven Research is an independent, non-profit lab studying the genome as both a biological and computational object. We work in the open: every project publishes its stage, its methods, and its setbacks, not just its conclusions.

  • Fund and run original research in genetics, bioinformatics and biomedical AI.
  • Publish findings — positive or negative — as they happen, not on a journal's schedule.
  • Give students and independent researchers a real way into active science.
  • Release tools, datasets and code under open licenses wherever consent allows.
